Kitty Myers

Kitty was born in 2007 and adopted from Teskes in Moline! On January 7th, just shy of her 19th birthday, my best friend, Kitty, passed peacefully in my arms. 

She has been my ride or die and my emotional support for half my life. Literally half, as im 39 now. She was smart and endlessly talkative. I will so miss her meows and trills and the feeling of her purrs. She could be feisty if she didnt know you, but really she was a softie. She showed love through gentle nose bites and head butts. If i was crying, even under covers she'd nudge her way in and lick my face. 

She loved my made up songs about her and would always roll over for tummy scritches when I sang them to her. 

Kitty had many nicknames. She would lovingly be called Kiwi, Gertrude, Gertie or Gert, Kitty Witty, and Kathy. She has lived in AZ and IL and is not a fan of cross country drives. 

Blessed to have had the time we did together and so grateful I was able to be there for her in the end like she was there for me all those years. My life is better having been loved by her for so long.
