Daisy

Daisy was adopted from the Quad City Animal Welfare Center when she was ten months old.  We are so grateful that we were the ones to adopt and love her for the next twelve years!  

Daisy was the most gentle and loving dog we have ever known!  She was wonderful with other dogs, children, and even rabbits! One day a rabbit found its way into our yard.  Daisy and the rabbit played a game of chase until both laid side by side panting!

Daisy loved her IQ ball, pigs ears, milk bones, laying by the fireplace, and taking long walks.  She enjoyed poached eggs on Sunday mornings and would delicately eat bites of cantaloupe off of a fork.  In the wintertime, Daisy would eat snow like it was a snow-cone! She would howl with happiness when our children and grandchildren would come over to visit!

We will forever miss and love our girl.  We were the lucky ones when we adopted Daisy.  We can only hope that we gave her as much happiness as she gave us.
